What Will I Pay?
If approved, BID programs and services will be funded through a special assessment paid by property owners within the district. Assessment amounts are calculated individually and vary by property.
Co-op Buildings: Individual shareholders do not pay the assessment directly. The co-op corporation is assessed as a single property, and the co-op board pays the assessment on behalf of the building.
Residential Tenants: If you rent your home, you will not pay a BID fee. By law, landlords cannot charge residential tenants for BID assessments.
